Hi my name is Kevin and together with my wife Olga we started K & O jewellery to fulfil our love of individually designed and handmade jewellery. We have both been interested in Arts and Crafts for longer than we care to remember and we love nothing more than creating something new and beautiful.
Working with semi-precious gemstones, pearls and crystals is fascinating, satisfying and often surprising - there is tremendous excitement when we work with gemstones of various textures and colours, pearls and assorted crystals and a beautiful new creation emerges which was completely unexpected.
Inspiration
People often ask where our inspiration and ideas come from. Well, I guess they come from everywhere, but just looking at the shape, colour and natural inclusions of gemstones; the beauty and lustre of pearls; and the way light is reflected and sparkles off Swarovski crystals and Toho beads gets our creative juices flowing.
Individuality
The great thing about handmade jewellery is that it can be as individual as you like - gemstones can be changed, sizes altered, different colours used. That is why we can offer to customise any of our jewellery to meet individual taste and also to provide a custom design service where jewellery pieces can be personally designed and tailor made.
Aims & Desires
Our aim is to make jewellery which is fashionable and also jewellery that is classical and designed to be timeless. We use Sterling (.925) Silver components giving our jewellery an everlasting value. Our desire is to design and make jewellery which is attractive, which can be worn today, tomorrow and everyday, and pieces of jewellery which may be passed on for future generations to enjoy.
